The Rotary 5k began under dark, gray, threatening to rain skies. The rain held off, however, and the cloud deck kept the course cool if humid. After a midwinter break in running, I had returned to daily evening runs a couple weeks ago. Although most of my running was generally slow and easy runs in order to ease back into daily running, I went out fairly quickly on the upper route.
Using a low throw and faster turn-over I finished in 28:02, my son coming in at 41 minutes. No else in the house made it out on a dark and rainy morning.
